Meet our Panelists

 

Christina Kuenzle, Managing Partner, Choice Ltd.

 

Christina Kuenzle is an experienced executive and business coach based in Zurich, Switzerland. Her comprehensive expertise is founded on career management, launching and developing new businesses, accompanying change processes and enhancing leadership effectiveness. Before founding her own company, Choice Ltd., she was a Member of the Executive Committee of Sulzer Ltd., where she was responsible for corporate development. She has worked in a variety of industries including consultancy, engineering, petroleum and travel and has held positions in global companies. She is a guest lecturer at the University of Zurich and a mentor at the University of St. Gallen. Christina holds a BA in Economics, an MBA from INSEAD and an MS in Coaching and Consulting for Change from HEC. She lives in Switzerland; also passionately pursues psychology, playing the piano, sailing and skiing and is a member of several professional and service networks, her latest “urban gurus”.

 

Mike Widmer, Managing Partner, Boyden Switzerland

 

Mike Widmer started his professional career as a Project Manager and Legal Counsel at the software company BSI Business Systems Integration AG (CRM, CTMS, Contact Center Software) in Baden, Switzerland. Thereafter he worked for McKinsey & Company in New Jersey, USA. At McKinsey he supported clients in the pharmaceutical, insurance and manufacturing industry on subjects such as distribution, M&A and pricing. In 2009, Mike returned to BSI to set up the company’s German subsidiary as Country Manager based in Frankfurt am Main. Prior to joining Boyden Switzerland, he worked as a consultant at a Boutique Executive Search firm in Zurich.

Mike studied law at the University of Zurich, Switzerland and graduated with a Master of Law degree (lic.iur) in 1999. Based on his doctoral thesis “Open Source Software and Copyright” he obtained his Ph. D. (Dr. iur.) in 2003 with highest honor. In 2007 Mike completed his two-year full-time MBA studies at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with an emphasis on corporate strategy.

 

 

 

 

Jane Piper, Organisational Psychologist, Pipsy GmbH

 

Jane Piper is an Organisational Psychologist and founder of Pipsy GmbH, a consultancy that helps companies and people to be successful in an age of digital disruption. Her coaching focuses on mid-career transitions. Jane has two decades of corporate experience in knowledge and technology driven companies in consulting, engineering, education and pharmaceutical fields. She was responsible for human resources, with a focus on learning and development, in global companies such as Pöyry, Air New Zealand and Honeywell.

Jane is a New Zealander who has lived for over 10 years in Zurich, Switzerland. Being naturally curious about people she studied psychology and graduated with Masters degree and is a New Zealand Registered Psychologist. Later she completed MBA at Henley Management College in UK, strengthening her business focus. She is the author of “Focus in the Age of Distraction” about managing work and life in a digital age.

Kathrin Puhan, Founder, you advance GmBH

 

Founder of you advance GmbH since 2009, Zurich. Moderator, trainer and spin doctor. She has a master’s degree in history, complemented with an MBA at St. Gallen University (Switzerland) and is also a qualified MBTI coach. After spending several years in large financial institutions as senior project manager, she has been working as a consultant and trainer in communications for the last 15 years. Kathrin’s mission is to help clients in unfolding their potential and developing new business models. Kathrin is an experienced moderator for groups mostly with clients from the financial, pharmaceutical & consulting industry and as well for panel discussions.
