PWG July Summer Hike with Sabina Bösch

Come along and enjoy the beautiful Swiss mountains in the region of Grenchen (SO) during our first summer guided hike to "Grenchenberg". 

Train Schedule:

Departure train Zürich HB: 09:06 a.m 

Arrival Olten: 09:55 

Departure train Olten: 10:02 

Arrival Grenchen Süd: 10:33 

Departure Bus Grenchen Süd: 11:00 

Arrival Grenchen, Unterer Grenchenberg: 11:35 - START TIME OF THE HIKE.

For those coming by car, they can drive all the way up and meet us at Restaurant Untergrenchenberg. 

There is a big parking area (no fees).

About the hike:

• Length: The hike is 8km long with an uphill of 440m and a downhill of 450m. 
• Duration of the hike: 3-4 hours 🚶🏻‍♀️
• Difficulty: Easy to Medium
• Group size: 25 people (max.)

Not included:

• 📝Insurance (all participants must count with a valid insurance coverage)
• 🚅Transportation from Zürich HB to Unterer Grenchenberg (and back): 2h 29 min (one way)
• 🧺Picnic: Bring your own food 🥪 and beverages 🥛
• We will organize a stop for a drink at the end of the hike
• Backpack, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat 🧢🧴😎

"Already as a child I loved to be out and about on foot. Nomads and their simple way of living have impressed and influenced me. I have spent my childhood summers living in a tent outside in the garden with our cat. As a young woman, I walked several months through France with my donkey before I moved into a small caravan as a member of the Circus Monti. Nowadays, I live in a house without wheels in Basel, but my passion to discover my surroundings by foot is still having a formative influence on my life. I startet my professional life as a primary school teacher, was later working several years as a riding therapist before starting my education to become an international mountain leader. Since 2015, I work as such within Europe. Besides that, I am working part-time for „Aargauer Wanderwege“ as a person responsible for „hikes and events“. I am looking forward to be on the way with you."
