What is the best way to celebrate the first half of the productive year 2019 at PWG?
We thought, that within first six months PWG has delivered exceptionally interesting events: panel discussions about Investing the Future, Women in Tech, Fashion as a Business and a big conference partnering with Tamedia “The Rise of Diversity”.
Oskar Kowalski Bar Cafe was opened in 2015. The name was inspired by Anita’s grandfather Oskar Kowalski, who used to be a distiller and cellarman. He liked to enjoy a good glass of schnaps or wine after a hard working day. So we assume he would have loved the bar as well.
Oskar Kowalski Bar Cafe is situated next to Zurich Mainstation. In the daytime we serve nice coffees and light lunches and in the evening it a the perfect spot to enjoy a classic or fancy drink or glass of wine together with some freshly made tapas.
Anita is founder and co-owner of the D-Vino Weinbars AG, which runs 5 bars in the city of Zurich. After an economic study and several years in the marketing and communication area, she accidentally laded in the gastronomy business, due to her love to wine, ten years ago.
Jolanda is the Store Manager of D-Vino Bahnhofstrasse and works with the company for 5 years. She originally comes from the Netherlands. In Switzerland she ran her own hotel with a restaurant together with her partner for over 10 years. Then she decided to focus more on wine and joined D-Vino.
Melinda works as sommelier and chef de service at D-Vino Limmatplatz already for 5 years now. She has completed already different formations in wine and is now in the final year to become WSET diploma holder, which is an internationally well known formation for wine specialist.
We are happy to co-host this event with our partner D-Vino.
